Alice Springs

Located on the Todd River in the MacDonnellRanges and settled by Europeans around 1871, ‘The Alice’ is almost right in the centre of Australia (1500km from both Darwin and Adelaide). Alice Springs Desert Park invites visitors to explore the arid landscape and the ability of Aboriginal people to survive in such harsh conditions. Alice Springs is a great base to explore the ‘red centers’ surrounding natural attractions and National Parks like Uluru (Ayres Rock) and Kings Canyon.
