After a long day of driving, relax and enjoy an ice cold beer with us.

This unique, remote pub is over 100 years old and retains its original facade and fantastic atmosphere.  Comfortable accommodation ( family rooms available), an excellent selection of beer and wine, A la carte dining all make your visit to Marree a pleasure.

Marree is a town with a fascinating history, built on the multiculturalism of Aborigines, Afghan camel drivers and Europeans all living harmoniously.  The fortunes of the town ebbed and flowed with outback pastoralism, the Overland Telegraph, the Old Ghan Railway and the cattle industry.  Many historical sites remain in this unique outback township including the Museum Park and a replica mosque. The Camel Cup is an event not to be missed and is held every July.

The Marree Hotel is also a base for scenic flights over Lake Eyre and The Cooper, what better way to see this fantastic part of the country than from a birds-eye view.

We look forward to your visit at the Marree Hotel, you can expect genuine outback hospitality!
