Balranald is the closest town to Mungo National park from Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne and only 6km from Yango National Park, making it the perfect point to break your journey.

Welcome to pet friendly Balranald Caravan Park, ideally located on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River, only 500m from shops, clubs and hotel.

The park is a 4 star caravan park offering a variety of accommodation from our budget cabins to our large deluxe cabins overlooking the river. We have grassy drive through powered sites and camping sites, a large well equipped camp kitchen with gas BBQs around the park. Balranald is a riverfront oasis surrounded by saltbush and mallee plains and was the first settlement on the lower Murrumbidgee River. Today this former paddle steamer port offers reminders of its pioneering past including historic buildings.

 It is a fantastic location for birdwatchers, keen fisher folk and travellers looking for a relaxing location to rest and revive.
