An Outback tourism experience in the heart of Waltzing Matilda country. Carisbrooke is set amidst the red mesa splendour of Cory's Range and the Williams valley, 85km southwest of Winton in Queensland's outback.

This working sheep and cattle station abounds with wildlife and natural vegetation. Your hosts Charles and Penelope Phillott and their family invite you to experience this fascinating and unique part of Australia as their guests.

You can choose to stay a while in our clean and comfortable self-contained station accommodation or caravan and camping facilities.

While at Carisbrooke, you can unwind by bushwalking and birdwatching. The area is perfect for painting and photography or just relax in an unforgettable, tranquil environment.

Carisbrooke is the ideal base for visiting other local attractions in the area including:

Lark Quarry dinosaur footprints and Opalton.

Old Cork Homestead and waterhole, and Mayne Hotel ruins.

Historic Winton precinct.
