Celebrating our 120th Year!

Australia's oldest Field Day's - next event is on the 29th, 30th September and 1st of October 2015

The Yorke Peninsua Field Days are acknowledged as the oldest in Australia with the first trial held near Bute, SA, on July 31st 1895.

The permanent site at Paskeville was established in 1975.  With a history spanning over 113 years this bienneial event is now a multi-million dollar showcase of the latest innovations in agricultural machinery, products, rural services and technology and is acclaimed as one of Australias major agricultural Field Days. The Field Days are an SA Great Regional Award Winner.

The Yorke Peninsula Field Days attracts up to 50,000 visitors during the three-day event. With a major focus on agriculture there is a vast display that provides a one-stop opportunity to view and compare a comprehinsive range of products designed for effective, efficient farming and rural practices.

Displays and demonstrations include: Cropping trials, Working Sheep Dogs, Wool and Sheep, Farm Machinery & Equipment, Tools and Accessories, Rural buildings and Automotive.

The event also offers a variety of displays designed to be of interest to both rural and urban families including fashion parades, quality crafts, family products and services, guest speakers, presentations and education.
