Bliman Hotel - circa 1869

Although relecting its bygone days in decor and friendly outback hospitality you will find satelite television, ensuite bathrooms, an indoor heated swimming pool and a first-class restaurant serving modern Australian cuisine.

Buried in an old copper mining town, this little gem has plenty of appeal to drag you over the dirt road from Parachilna or up the spectacularly scenic sealed route through the Flinders Ranges National Park. History is literally wall-to-wall, with historical photos papering the walls.

Upstairs the rooms are as expansive as the outback, but have homey touches to make it more like a luxury B&B.

You won’t have to dig too deep for a bite either with the menu showcasing bush favourites, like our ridiculously large mixed grill or grain fed beef or lamb straight from the char grill.

Still haven’t got your tastebuds pumping? Then opt for the ironically Australian Parma – a slab of chicken or beef with a Roma sauce and stringy mozzarella.

We are fast becoming the best place in the north to get a great pizza. With Tony churning out freshly prepared pizza's on his secret dough recipe, these beauties are always a winner!

For Lunch we have daily “Big Blinman” burgers with home cut fries and the state’s best steak sandwiches.

This delightful, historic outback hotel has a great atmosphere, cold beer and is open 7 days - be sure to call in or stay and use the Blinman Hotel as a base to explore this fantastic region of South Australia.

We look forward to seeing you in Blinman soon!
