Ideally situated off the main road, but close to many island facilities including restaurants, cafe, general stores, bike hire, post office, the only jetty on the island is just 100 metres away, lagoon beach for a quiet swim, Old Settlement & Ned's Beaches for great snorkelling and fish feeding. Just a short climb up the back paddock to get fantastic panoramic views of the island and lagoon.

The apartments are an original island business started more than 100 years ago and now operated by 5th and 6th generation decendants of T.B. & Mary Wilson, who settled in 1876.

Ocean View has a blend of the old and the new, our large refurbished lounge and recreation area which is the original homestead, has a pool and table tennis table, games to play, a small library and plenty of room to just sit and relax.  There is a supergrass tennis court (for guests only), tennis balls and racquets provided, a large saltwater swimming pool, lounge chairs so you can just sit back, relax and soak up the sun.

Set amidst subtropical foliage of Kentia palms and ferns our comfortable modern studio units and family unit have fully equipped kitchenettes including microwave, fridge and kitchen utensils. Each apartment also has TV, fans, electric blankets, hair dryers, backpacks, flyscreens and freshwater.

There are free covered BBQ's close to the units, free guest laundry, a free BBQ fish pack (when available) and free transport to restaurants every evening.  We have our own fishing and sightseeing cruiser, M.V. "CARINA", all gear and bait supplied - fishing here is rated amongst the best in the world, there is an extra fee for fishing charters and scenic cruises.
