The Beaconsfield Mine and Heritage Centre has something of interest for the whole family.
Exhibits include over 30 interactive displays and is housed in the original Tasmania Gold Mine Co. buildings that were established in 1904 and 1905. There is a working gold mine right next door.
See ruins and relics, interactive working models and machinery, memorabillia, social history, native gardens and more...
there is easy parking, a playground for the children and a BBQ area. We also have a great giftshop to browse through.
School groups are welcome and guided tours are available by appointment.
